We are seeking an experienced Lead/Manager of Cloud Engineering to spearhead our cloud infrastructure initiatives. In this role, you’ll lead a team modernizing legacy systems, driving cloud adoption, and implementing best practices across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Cloud Services Team, managing cloud platforms, technologies, and processes.
- Architect and implement secure, scalable Azure cloud solutions using DevOps tools.
- Manage Azure resources with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform and Azure Resource Manager.
- Optimize CI/CD pipelines, enhance infrastructure security, and improve system performance.
- Serve as a technical SME, mentoring team members and providing Level 3 support.
- Design and enforce IAM policies in Azure AD, ensuring secure access to resources.
- Develop automation scripts/tools using PowerShell or Python.
- Continuously recommend and implement architectural improvements for system reliability.
- Maintain workflows in Jira, document processes in Confluence, and lead team meetings.
Required Experience
- 10+ years in enterprise IT infrastructure; 5+ years with Microsoft Azure in large-scale environments.
- Expertise in Azure Landing Zones, cloud migrations, and hybrid architectures.
- Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, PowerShell, and Python.
- Strong knowledge of identity solutions (Azure AD, Active Directory, OKTA).
- Experience with Windows Server, Linux, and cloud security controls (e.g., firewalls, vulnerability management).
- Solid understanding of OSI network models and WAN/LAN technologies.
